Chris was also hassled by the hustlers at the pyramids. He had his camera literally grabbed off him by the person who took this photo, and had to have a major argument with him and his friends not to pay him something like US$20 for the priviledge of having this photo taken. When he offered to pay in Bulgarian Lev, his offer was turned down - the hustler said "but that money is useless - we cannot exchange it in the banks". Eventually, he offered something like STG£5 to get rid of the hustlers, to which they responded "OK - STG£5 plus that other money". When Chris exclaimed "but I thought that other money was useless to you!", they backed off, taking the few Bulgarian Lev as all they were going to get for their trouble.
