2002 - Pictures from South Africa

While out on a bushwalk, this rhino charged four of us and our guide. He had spent the previous 2 or 3 minutes sniffing us out, before deciding to charge. Our guide loudly loaded his rifle, which stopped the rhino for a few seconds. But he decided "well, if that's all you've got..." and resumed his charge. Thankfully, one shot in the air was all it took to make him (rather quickly) change his mind.
